I fell in love with Shih Tzus about thirty years ago after a life-altering meeting. I was fascinated by my friend Hubert’s Shih Tzu puppy when I was a young adolescent. I loved every chance I had to assist in taking care of and playing with that cute puppy, even though I couldn’t have one of my own at the moment. The seeds for a lifelong love of the breed were sown by that encounter.
When my parents gave me my first Shih Tzu when I was 15, my dream was fully realized. I was immediately enamored with these loving, energetic friends, and they remained a constant in my life. I have a deeper grasp of their care, temperament, and special needs thanks to years of practical experience.
